If All You Do Is Please God, You Can Never Go Wrong.

Saying #104

If all you do is to please God, you can never go wrong.

Jesus lived with one audience in mind — the Father who sent Him — and it kept Him from ever missing His way. Chasing approval from people will pull you in a dozen directions; chasing God's pleasure gives you one clear path. Make pleasing Him your only ambition and let the rest sort itself out.

Pleasing God is the simplest compass there is — when your motive is right, the details sort themselves out. People, applause, and even outcomes fluctuate, but pleasing Him gives you a fixed north star. Ask before every decision: does this please Him? Let that settle it.
