A shepherd who cannot feed his own household will eventually feed on the flock. God never called His servants to poverty — He called them to provision, so they could serve without desperation twisting their integrity. When a pastor refuses the prosperity God offers, need has a way of writing the sermon instead of the Spirit. Guard the house of God first, and He will guard your storehouse.
