Saying #159
The reason why most believers are deceived is that they validate their spiritual leaders by giftings instead of their fruit. You know by fruit, not by gifts.
A gift can operate even where character has collapsed — that's exactly why Jesus warned that many will prophesy in His name and still hear "I never knew you." Giftings are loaned; fruit is grown, and only what's grown reveals what's really planted in a person's heart. Stop being dazzled by platforms and power — test the spirits, and watch the fruit, not the flash.
