Whoever is faithful in little will be faithful in much — Jesus tied trustworthiness with small resources directly to being entrusted with true riches. Money gathered little by little grows, and wisdom knows the difference between debt that builds and debt that buries. Cast your bread upon the waters, and give portions to seven or even eight — wise stewardship takes calculated risk, not blanket avoidance. Not all debt is the enemy; undiscerning fear is.
